K-12 Field Trips: Take a look at our exciting options!Field Trip visits can include: A 90 minute, quality science class matched to the California State Science Standards and the Open Court Reading science topics. A grade appropriate show in our digital dome Ask Jeeves Planetarium, or an educational film in our MegaDome Theater. Exploration time for our permanent exhibits, including, Destination Universe, Solar-Go-Round, A New Space Race: Ansari X-Prize, One Giant Leap: A Moon Odyssey, and Chabot Observatories: A View to the Stars. Have us come to you with CHABOT-TO-GO!Our traveling science fair is available to come to your school on evenings and weekends. Chabot-to-Go features at least four tables of hands-on space and science activities for all ages. Perfect for a PTA function, family science night or other special event. Content Themes (select one when you register):Astronomy: Activities based up on stars, galaxies, constellations, the solar system, planets, moons, asteroids, and comets. Space and Astronaut Training: Activities based upon human exploration, rockets, space shuttles, astronaut apparatus training. Chabot Sampler: An assortment of favorite
activities selected from a variety of science areas
including astronomy and space science. Treat your group to 30 minute mini-planetarium shows
(maximum of 25 persons at one time). Timed tickets will be
distributed at the event to assure each person is able to
see the show. School is responsible for providing 6' – 8' long tables.
